I realise, that it's been quite some time, since I last wrote a Blog post,
but perhaps this Blog might explain the reasons for my lengthy absence...
When you consider, I have been quietly working steadily on my second book manuscript for the past year, I thought I'd include this recent social media post, about what has been keeping me quiet over these past few months.
Earlier this week, while I was without my old faithful laptop, for a few days, which has served me very well, for the past 7 years, and while waiting for my new laptop to have all the data, programs and several documents, including my two book manuscripts, transferred over...
I took the opportunity to sort through some notes; putting together some Testimonials and Book Reviews for my third book, already.
In the meantime, since I have acquainted myself with my new laptop, and while waiting to hear back from my publisher, I did another proofread through my 2nd book manuscript, having since picked up on several more minor errors, corrections and typos, so the slight delay has been well worthwhile.
Therefore, when I have, at last, completed the final round of proofreading and corrections, I will eventually make arrangements to speak with someone to discuss the next process in moving forward with my second book manuscript: "Autism ~ Beyond The Frontline - The Teenage Years"
However, at the time of writing, I am still waiting for the Foreword to be written, which I also hope to include with my book manuscript. Hopefully that won't be too much longer, from being completed, by which time, I should be more than ready to arrange a meeting with my Publisher.
Once again, these are exciting times, but I am also feeling a little bit nervous, just like I was, the first time, I went through this process; nervous because, someone else will be reading my book manuscript, but more so, nervous , whether they will actually like what I have written...
Which I'm sure they will, even though, I feel quietly confident, that it reads very well - brilliant - in fact; considering how much my writing style has greatly improved, over these past few years.
