But, as a Carer, for my young adult son, I must also consider my other needs, and so I also like to spend time away from my desk and catch up with other Carers, like myself, over coffee and conversation, just as I did today.
But, when the casual conversation unexpectedly turned to the subject of Writing, then I naturally found myself in the perfect environment!
A Carer with whom I was casually chatting, suddenly mentioned how she would like to write a book about her life experiences!
And she asked, in all innocents: "How does one write a book?"
"Well, Heather has written a book," said my Carer friend sitting next to her - and that was all the opening I needed to casually mention my own book!
She was ecstatic! She wanted to know more about it! And, she also wants to read my book...
Oh! How I do love it when a casual conversation, over coffee, unexpectedly turns to the subject of Writing...
Happy Writing Everyone
